Hello~

I was planning on waiting a while before starting this; but I decided to start now.

This will be my first contest, and I hope dearly that it goes well.
If you are not one who enjoys Literature, or who does not write, then this contest is not for you. The only thing allowed in this will be Literature; both Poetry and Prose.
The theme can be taken in many different ways. Forbidden Love would be one of them, for example, the story of Romeo and Juliet, in love with each other, but not allowed to be together. Or, perhaps you could see Forbidden as illegal; a person doing something that’s against the law, murder, theft, you name it. It is all up to you, as long as I can recognize the theme within your story, or poem.
As with all contests, there are a few rules to be kept to. The rules are listed below.

Rules
- One entry per deviant
- Donators may still enter
- Entries must be English
- No Fan fiction
- No plagiarism
- Entries must be made specifically for this contest
- Blood/Gore is allowed
- Entries may not be overly Erotic
- If the entry must be labeled as Mature Content, only use the Mature Content Warning, or else it cannot be judged and will not be accepted

Word Limits
Prose entries may be up to 2500 words (Minor exceptions may be made on a case-to-case basis. Contact me, *Magic-fan, if you have such a situation)
Poetry entries may be up to 500 words (Minor exceptions may be made on a case-to-case basis. Contact me, *Magic-fan, if you have such a situation)

Do not take the Word Limits as a goal. Shorter entries are just as welcome, and length will not influence the judging process. However, if you are over the limit without first consulting me, *Magic-fan, about it, your entry shall not be judged, and will be removed from the contest.

Submitting an Entry
To submit an entry to the contest, simply send me, *Magic-fan, a note titled ‘Contest Entry’ with a link to the piece in question. You will receive a response within twenty-four hours, and your piece will be added to the Collection ‘Forbidden Contest’.
Also, in the Artists’ Comment, put the link to my page as either *Magic-fan (:devmagic-fan : Without the space.) or (:iconmagic-fan : Without the space.)
And the last thing to add would be the link to either the News Article ( [link] ) or this Journal.
If you have not added the links when you send your entry, I will remind you once. If it is not changed by the deadline, your entry will be removed from the Collection and shall not be judged.

Judging
The entries will be judged on the following:
- Incorporation of the theme
- Originality
- Style
- Emotive Concepts
- Vocabulary (Only slightly; not as important. However, if English is your native language, I will have a higher expectation.)
- Grammar (Only slightly; not as important. However, if English is your native language, I will have a higher expectation.)

Deadline
The contest will end at 12:00 +1 GMT on August 31st 2009
